....how do you create an archive(rar) with part1 part2 etc?......and put up a password for it?

password, I think, shortcut is ctrl+p for winrar.


part1/2/3 ect: use a file splitting program after compression. Like hjsplit.

or you can create a self extracting one with winrar.

hmm...for ordinary archiving, right click on the folder you want to make a rar of, pick "add to archive...", to split it into parts just enter the size of each part in the "split to volumes, bytes" section, and to set password, go to advanced section, and there's a place to set password...
