The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006)

At first I thought: "Hey this is sure gonna be a weak-ass movie cuz them dudes be cashin' in on the success yo."

But I was pleasantly surprised.

I really loved the lighting in this one, as well as the soundtrack. The whole atmosphere was just brilliant.

I give it a 8.5/10.

Highly recommended for fans of all things horror, especially those that liked the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Only thing that kept this from getting a higher score was that... (minor spoilers)

Terminator Salvation

It's a piece of shit.

So many parts of the movie made me cringe; mainly, those piece of shit cliche moments we've pretty much seen in EVERY other action film. As I fucking expected, they used the "I'll be back" and "come with me if you want to live" lines reserved for Arnold ONLY! Also, why is christian bale still talking like batman?

1 point for having action.
1 point because marcus is cool.
1 point for having a fake Arnold.
1 point for putting robots in robots who are in robots.
1 point for having the audacity to allow such a thing as a paradox to not be a paradox (Kill the father, kill the son <-- Shouldn't be possible).

Kick-Ass

Not boring at all. Surprised me like a motherfuck. Had a little girl cursing and killing motherfuckers. Best of all, this movie did something I've never seen happen in other movies with stupid teens in love: The guy actually grabbed the chick's tits.

Dead & Buried (1981)

Started out as a "meh" movie, but it really picked up. The ending was a nice little mindfuck.

I can now see why this is considered as a horror classic.

Prince or Persia

Hated it...making what was already an only okay game into a disney movie just made everything go to shit. Horrible fighting scenes, horrible acting...why is it a white guy that plays a persian prince i don't know but I must say don't buy a ticket to this just watch it online.

Prince of Persia.



I was totally bored during the whole run, and knew on the first 5 minutes that I bought the wrong ticket. It was lame. The Prince wasn't as convincing as he could be, and I would remember him solely because he's white, starring as a Persian. The CG wasn't that great either. Okay, maybe the twist in the end was good, but it could have been better. Then again, at least the ending nullifies any kind of sequel.

Hey, it's a classic movie, who didn't like it? Oh, the farting scene was awe---- wait, that's in Family Guy... Anyhows, great movie, I don't even know why I watched it again after so many years, I guess it was just a sudden impulse. Oh and here's a bonus 2 points for the Oompa Loompa Song :D!

Fucking brilliant movie. Now let's see if Cube 2 and Cube 0 can hold a candle to that.

Well, I might have been slightly over-analytical about the artsy bits as I watched it for my modern-art class but it was a decent movie. Art is overall great, the detailed, clean style really adds to the surrealistic scenes. As does the entire story. If you watch it briefly and not following the plot the movie doesn't make much sense, but if you pay attention it makes a lot of it.

Music is great, compositions are awesome. Not mention the OP theme is sung by Vocaloid Meiko (At least I think it is, I've heard mentions of Lola to, but not as much)

Mystery Team: 6.5-7/10

The movie as a whole wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either. Some of the jokes were kind of childish and stupid, but on the whole I enjoyed the movie. Plus it was actually written with some amount of intelligent thought put into it, which is more than I can say for some movies I've seen (Epic Movie, I'm looking at you).

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)

Watched the 2006 prequel last Saturday and I loved it to pieces, so I thought I should rewatch the original.

Don't get me wrong, it's a classic horror movie and gave birth to one of the genre's most iconic characters, but I was outright bored as I watched this. It sure had it's oldschool charm, but it shows its age.

Prince of Persia....SUCKED. 2 out of 5 stars.

What grip me was the villian role. They had you going one way then a fucking v-turn coming at 5 o'clock. For me,

There were parts after parts that needed improvements, but the idea that disney help with some of movie still got me wondering about other things like this as long as they have Jerry doing the most of key parts.



I hear the rumors, hear conversation about this movie, and still went to see this tasteless remake(except for the end, nice job of "to be cont.")

Good thing I don't spend any money to see it(, and no, I don't see it online, I was too sneaky to catch.)

I hoping the round two of freddy vs. jason is good or their remake was truely all for nothing

Cube Zero (2004)

Well, what to say. The movie sure was interesting for those that have seen the first two, but I think it's not that great all by itself. And Jax was making me laugh, somehow. His antics were so random, I couldn't help but to giggle sometimes.

Freddy vs Jason was teh shit, im really hoping for a sequel to that one.
I don't even give a shit if the story is crap, i just want to see some monster brawl~

The Collector (2009)

Better than I expected. I read about it on wikipedia the other day, and the article about it made it seem like it was in the same style as Hostel or Saw, which was not the case.

Sure, the traps were fucking EVERYWHERE. What I love about this movie was that it finally had one of those faceless killers again. You never see his face, you don't know his name, you never get to know his real motives.

The traps itself ranged from lame to fucking badass - and the ending was truly a bad ending (in the sense of a "not happy ending").
