Requesting some help

Hey sup guys, well with C74 in full effect and new stuff coming in by the minute, many of us are downloading alot! But it seems that half the stuff that i download don't work. Mostly getting this error with WinRar. I just can't open them. Now i'm sure that there are some other people with problem. So if anyone got a clue how to get this stuff working, would be awsome



I also noticed that WinRar is unable to encode Jap / Chinese <.<


Should be in the : Feedback / Suggestion / support . I know i know. I Looked through the section too quick and only say the first 2 Xd;;

did you try renaming the file with an english filename rather than unicode filename?

Usually fixes it for me.

No, it just means you're using programs not built to work internationally, which is a slap to the programmer's face in design ethic. Though I usually don't program in unicode either, heavy functions and odd names populate so much of the APIs

I never had any trouble with winrar when it comes to files or folders with Japanese or Chinese characters. Even though I am uncertain, the language settings on one's computer could make a difference too, apart from the solution already provided by Obviouspam.
