Retail Therapy can be fun

So I've been down lately and I decided some Retail Therapy is in order.

And look what I bought

the things i found most interesting were the 5 gum and the bottled ship [:

You bought sake, that's similar to what I do when I'm depressed. Which is drink. Though, I'm not sure being depressed really has much to do with it.

naw the shopping put me in a good mood and my good mood mandated that I buy booze.

I also bought a cheep little Sake Cup to drink the SAKE! in.

It'll seem authentic after a few drinks, regardless of how cheap it is.

Next time I'm at Habari Market(the little Asian market I go to) I'm going to buy the matching Sake container, and a Bento box. I also found some kick ass Blue Chopsticks that have a matching case that I want to get(These are my current ones: http://www.asianfoodgrocer.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=4071)

Not a big fan of sake, but I would still get shit faced off of it right now if I had some.

And sake varries like wine in it's quality, it can be delicious or it can be like vinigar.

When it comes to sake, you should aim for the more expensive stuff. I'm not saying you should throw away your life savings for a single bottle, but in my experience, quality is proportionate to the price. I'm just talking about buying it in America, other countries might be different.

I had some sake at a restaurant last year on my birthday that was like $30. I wasn't a whole lot, but since I wasn't paying I just said whatever. Even though before I drank it, I was thinking that it was a waste of money, all I can say is that it was fucking beautiful. Just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes. I didn't even get drunk, but if I drank anymore than I had, I swear I would've came in my pants. It was just epic.

Don't get me wrong, the cheap sake can be good, but I've never had any regrets when I've bought the more expensive stuff.

I'm the guy who buys the cheep stuff first then works there way to the more expensive stuff. I'm a fan of Gin to say the least, I started myself ion some Gilbys to get myself used to cheep stuff so if I can't afford enough of my personal Fave(Bombay Sapphire) I can still get drunk and like it.

To me, gin is terrible.
But it is simmilar for most booze, you get what you pay for, really. But there tends to be some middle-ground that's not too pricey and not too terrible. like Beam instead of Wild Turkey.
