The last holiday i went to was a visit to China to see family and whilst we were there we got to visit japan seeing as there was a drop in prices for holiday packages. Here are a few snaps of my time on rural japan. I've got a load from tokyo too but i lost them when i was 1st starting to find out how to work a mac.
Anywho, this is basically a post for consideration. Where i went the scenery was amazing, the food was all fresh(& free-range *woooop*) and even though i'm sure when thinking about japan people see maid cafes(they're good fun, with members cards you get discounts and you get to play on mostly new games.) SO if anyone is going to visit, try both sides because there's so much to see and experience! Umm yeah  .
*Warning* I got carried away with being a tourist so its a little image heavy...
He's a japanese feudal lord. apparently was a real tax bitch.
Kawaii souvenier shop!! They ward off bad luck, illness and vengeful spirits!

Tepid attempt at photography. meh.
Hearing the bell is good luck and it means you'll have a good day!

Thats mostly it. I did get a few at the hot springs but ill keep them to myself for obvious reasons. I'll try finding the tokyo ones again, i got an hour with a maid called Kotone-chan and got a few snaps with her! 8)
So yeah, please consider both sides of japan ^^
