Fuck both those options. Firefox. Those two are for the loss. Firefox gives you so many options you'll go blind from the awesomeness. Firefox is the most used browser as well followed by Googles outdated browser Chrome then Safari then IE. Yeah that's right... an outdated browser beats Safari and IE lol. As for Opera... I hardly hear anything about that because it charges you money and when I do hear something about it it's talking about the Nintendo Wii.

And that's the only reason you need.

I downloaded Opera and tried it in the past, a couple of years ago, and it seemed alright, but useless since Firefox was my main browser. I keep IE on my comp for "emergency" purposes (though nothing ever goes wrong with Firefox). Opera has no hole to fill. But the whole reason I downloaded it and tried it was because some computer-savvy people said that it was good. I didn't really see how it was any better than Firefox.

They don't charge anymore? It was a really long time ago... I just never even bothered with it when I heard they charged money... lol anyone remember Netscape Navigator? Lol omfg.

Firefox. I keep I.E. on my computer in case I need to visit the Microsoft website. They won't allow you to access much of the site unless you use I.E. so I have the basic version that was installed when I reformatted my computer.

Firefox has better security with heaps of addons(!). The addons do everything from adding an extra layer of security (noscript) to block ads (adblock) to adding features to sites you visit (greasemonkey) and a whole bunch of other things.

IE has a major security breach that hasn't been patched up recently too I think. Really there's nothing that IE can do that firefox can't.

Anyway, what reasons do you want before you're willing to switch over to firefox? What more do you expect to get out of a web browser anyway...

If you wanna use IE that's fine... it's just like using the AOL browser but whatever. Firefox is the newest and latest thing and is the wave of the future. It'll soon put IE in the dirt (IE's already in it's grave... time to put the dirt on it) and become default for all OS's soon!

I probably prefer IE because, unlike FireFox, I get to learn how to avoid suspicious sites and viruses... the hard way

I'll fix that rep thing. The reason it'll benefit to switch to Firefox is that it'll add onto you skill of avoiding suspicious sites. Hell, Firefox caught me going to a fake version of myspace and warned me before I realized it. If I was on I.E. my account would have been spammed with advertisements or probably gay porn.

Along with that are the add-ons for just about every conceivable function as others have already pointed out. Not to mention the top notch team that works on Firefox to fix bugs or to patch up any holes in it.

Also C'mon, look at that emblem. That..that's just bad ass.
