Should I get a New Avatar?

Since the forum have changed and the size of the avatar you can have...I've been thinking about getting a new avatar. Everyone here has changed their original avatar, but I've kept mine. Should I change it?

If yes, then what kind? GIF? PNG? What character?

If no, then why? Is my current avatar good enough to transcend time?

I would just try to make larger version of the Fuko thriller.

Honestly I think the larger images are unecessary. I don't like having to scroll more because a huge image takes up half my screen.

Although, since the larger avatars are so common, the 100x100 ones feel like you have to squint to see them.

Personal taste, really.

If you get rid of your thriller avatar, I will come back from the grave and do... bad things.

Nothing wrong with it IMHO and it's somewhat of your trademark by now. A larger gif wouldn't fit the file size restrictions BTW so you'd probably have to find something static.

True of almost every avatar. Visual people like myself look at the avatar to know who's posting, not the name. I go crazy when people change them.

Which freaking rock did you guys crawl out from? I haven't seen you both in months.
I would try and find a larger one, but at this rate...I'd probably have to..

1. Download AVI version of Clannad(I usually download mkv)
2. Cut avi apart for that 5 seconds of that episode.
3. Spend hours making it perfect frame per frame.
4. Add borders
5. Resize to around 150x150(or 175, whatever)
6. Upload to somewhere else then photobucket or imageshack
7. Place on Fakku as avatar.

Sounds like a lot of work. So I'll either stick with this, or find a completely unrelated avatar.

i vote YES! its a good avatar but its to small now so i think u should consider getting a bigger and/or a different one..but thats just my opinion

I kept mine because I have been lasy but if you want to then do so I might do that myself tonight

I tend to remember and recognize people by their avatar, so if there's some other people like me out there, changing your avatar would be a prime opportunity to sow confusion and discord. All hail, snake-lord waar of the netherworld!
