Well, those other 1/100s are actually high grades. It was the 1/144s that were considered NG. You gotta remember back in 93, there was no MG or PG, only HG and NG, and at the time, HG was the pinnacle of gundam models.

There was a 1/100 ZZ Gundam in the 80s? Wow, interesting. I know I would have loads of fun painting that bad boy.
I have a couple models from the 80s, 3 to be exact, and all 1/100 scale. The Zaku II, RGM-79 GM, and the PF-78-1 Perfect Gundam.
And now it looks like I won't be getting my 1/60 V2 until Tuesday now.
