Show me your Gunpla

I'm thinking about buying a HG Epyon (yes one of the old HG models) and painting it.

Are you talking 1/144 or 1/100?

you're better off with a 1/144 cuz the thing is.... The joints gets worn out faster than the 1/144 version. And the hands suck...

I don't know much about the joints getting worn out, since most I collected recently were mosty SDs and a few MGs.

I kind of agree with you about the hands though. Sure they suck, but I think that only applies to the ones with guns, no grip on them.

Well, when I get the model, paint, and a fine paintbrush, I'll keep you guys updated on it's progress.

Well, if you do get the 1/100, invest in a bottle of school glue. Not the stick, but just normal glue, and apply good amounts to where the joints are at, preferably during the construction process. It's what I use for models that have loose joints, and it tightens them nicely. Or if you prefer, masking tape inside the joints as well.

I prefer pre-built figures, like Gundam Fix Figurations. I like to play with my figures (shut up) and I don't trust myself with a model you have to build.

I might make some Gunpla one day, though...

I think those are hard to find at times, usually see the 1/144 though.

Only thing about RGs is that most of the frame is pre-built so you only get to assemble the armor outside. If you want a epic looking gunpla without the long assembling time RGs are for you.
