So I'm thinking about getting some tattoos

The title says it all.

The first one is


Though I would have the artist sketch it to look more like it was freshly painted/drawn. It would be placed on the muscle over my heart. The general area is between the sternum and my nipple (though a couple inches up from the line that connects them. I haven't decided on a color either red or typical black.

The second I don't have a picture for but, it would be "Wrath" in the Old English Five font across my upper back. There is a long back story in relation to this one but, its rather personal for me.

I tried finding a picture but, its rather hard for me to find. I found places that let you view different fonts but, never will they let you see that particular font.

I don't know, regardless of were it is you'll still get some interesting responses. I actually thought of a couple as I was reading it.

I guess. Getting a tattoo on you're penis period is kind of tough. Even if its something like a unicorn or a care bear.

If I had a cock tattoo I'd look for opportunities where I could inappropriately show it off. "Oh, you think you're tattoo is the shit, check this out... Wait, where are you going? Hold on up for a second and look at it, it goes all the way around."

I'd say, if you have a choice, go for both, but if you're only able to get one, I'd say go for the Wrath, cause it looks pretty badass.

I'm anting to get one myself, but something like a Celtic, Nevern, or Trinity Cross on my upper Arm.

I think tattoos generally (not always) are dumb. Something like the word wrath, simply because you want to look badass, is especially dumb. If you were badass people would look at your face and think wrath. If people look at your tattoo of wrath they will say "Look at the loser." and laugh at you. And if you happen to be badass and have a tattoo of the word wrath... then people are just going to think you're too dumb to know the meaning of the word redundancy.

I probably would have said the same thing, in less words.

At one stage of my life, I was interested in body piercing and tattoos. I've now gone past that, and hold no interest in the subject because it's really not something I'd consider 'cool'. Tats are for bikers and people who just punched you in a bar.

I'm not all that big a fan of tattoos, but my thoughts on whether a person should get one are different. Its alright to get one, if what you're getting has some kind of personal significance. One of the most important conditions I think is necessary to take into account is: when you're 74 or whatever, you look at it and you don't regret having it.

My mother is turning 55 in a few months and she wants to go out and get a tattoo. She wants to get it be because she's a cancer survivor... and I think that's awesome. My brother and I told her we'd get one with her because she is a bit nervous being over 50 and getting one. I have no problem because of the meaning.
