Thanks! I'm actually working on practicing coloring in photoshop by coloring in the young soldier pic, but it's slow going because my computer's old and photoshop takes alot out of it.

Spoilers please! Everyone forgets the spoilers. XD Looks awesome though. Your soldier kind of reminds me of Ryoga from Ranma 1/2. The coloring looks sweet.

Photoshop? Nice. I made one yesterday. But I have NO idea how to use it. Just... randomness. XD I'm more of a pencil and ink type of artist.

Now that I think about it, he DOES look a little like Ryoga. I actually won second place in an art contest with Ryoga. But for some reason I thought the young soldier ended up looking like Glenn from Chrono Cross... without the scar, of course. Also I'm not sure what needed to be put in spoilers, but I just had Tsurayu teach me how 2 minutes ago.

Your anatomy isn't really consistent. Maybe you should lightly sketch the anatomy of your characters with basic shapes beforehand.

I'm trying that approach on my newer pics. I have bad eyesight though so all the extra pencil marks makes it hard to see what I need to erase and what I don't. God what I wouldn't do for a Wacom tablet so I could draw with easy to see colors, and be able to erase just as easily.

I hear ya a tablet does make things easier cuz u get the feeling similar to on paper but sadly Im in Your position with no tablet using a mouse to draw.

Body proportions seem a bit off.

That aside, the art style looks retroish.
