I decided to post some of my stuff as the new guy around. A brief synopsis about my drawings and works. I have over 100 sketches of anime/manga related stuff done during high school, all done by pencil, pen, color pencil, photocopier, and a scanner. The stuff I'm posting here are my best works that are currently scanned into my computer that are anime-related. The only other thing I use to enhance the image is paint to resize the pictures. (They end up way to damn big.) Most of what I draw is usually in pencil with shading involved to take the place of color. The things are draw, least the ones shown below, are all copied images, but not traced. The process for a full-fledged shaded picture is thus:
1.) Copy the image onto another piece of paper with a .5mm or .3mm lead pencil. There is NO TRACING. I wouldn't be able to face myself and others if I did.
2.) Take the copied outline of the image base and photocopy it.
3.) Use the photocopy and pen in all the outlines with a rolling-ball pen of .5mm.
4.) Shade like crazy using lead pencils and pencils. Done
So, please enjoy the few pics I have hear and I hope to hear some comments. Might post other stuff when I get the chance to scan the images.
This is what I consider a full-fledged picture in my repetoire. It's the GATX105 Swordstrike Gundam, colored with gel pens and copied from the magazine Hobby Japan!.
A gundam model I made up for the hell of it. Done in pencil. Design of certain body parts are stolen from a couple of Gundam models.
The first real shaded picture I did, it took me a f*cking while to complete. The three girls in this pic is Saati from A.I. Love you, Naru from Love Hina, and Mai from Itsudatte no Santa. All are works from Ken Akamatsu. Shaded in pencil.
My second full-fledged picture. Again, this took me a long time to finish. (a week) The characters here are Coud and Ren from Erememtar Gerad (or Elemental Jade), my personal favorite anime series since it hooked me into the world of anime and manga. Shaded in pencil.
Now this is picture in color pencils done for a health project with theme of "family". The picture is slightly bigger than the normal 8.5x11in paper that I use. Again, this took me awhile. You can compare my version with the original version done in photoshop: http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm86/islidox/Akamatsu3girlspic.jpg

Help! Is there some way I can shrink these images?
