Sonata Arctica is a Finnish power metal band from the town of Kemi, originally assembled in 1996. Although the first 3 albums were Power Metal, they've taken a more progressive path nowadays.

Love them soooo much!!! You can never go wrong with Sonata Arctica. You should look up "Stratovarius". They're another Finnish power metal band, and they sound very similar, almost the same, but they're just as good. Also, the band "Heavenly". They're the French Heavenly band, and they rock. Just put in Heavenly (french Band) to look them up.
