Anyone else excited to watch Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li? The film is based on the personal history of Chun Li and her journey for justice. I am extremely excited due to the fact that I'm a street fighter fan and am also a huge fan of Kristen Kreuk. (Who plays Chun-Li)
Hell, the movie could have been about 2 gays talking about maths and I would still pay to watch Kristen Kreuk. Here are some pictures to convince you. :)

No offense to the actress, she is very hot, but I am not doing to see this movie. No way in hell.
If you are able to create a Street Fighter movie, who the hell decides to make it about Chun-Li? Why not tell the story of Ken or Ryu? Those are the guys I really want to see in a movie, and the characters deserve to be in a good movie, since the live-action Street Fighter from a while back didn't do them any justice at all.

*Nod when I first heard about a new street fighter movie I wasn't expecting a Chun-Li movie. I was suprised when I heard it was about Chun-Li. A pleasant suprise as it turned out...
Ryu and Akuma would have been alot better storywise though. I doubt this movie would be a commercial success so unfortunately, I doubt the next movie would be any time soon :(

I've known about this for a year and (though the actress is hot) this movie will be a big disaster (not like the 1994 SF movie that was a piece of shit hated Jean Claude Van Damme as Guile and the plot) the only characters from my knowledge that will make an appear in the movie are Ryu and Ken.

You don't even have to know anything about the character to know that she's Asian! The name gives it away!

Well, apparently KK is half Asian, so at times she does look Asian, the other times she looks Caucasian.

They're better off making an animated movie instead! I'll be much more delighted to see something like the 1994 Street Fighter II animated movie.

Who do you think would make a better actress? I'm not defending Kristen just curious as to what you guys think. I don't know any actresses that can fill the role tbh. Most are too skinny and/or can't speak english. Others are too old...
Though Jessica Biel would probably fill the role well if she was chinese lol.

But this live action movie is most likely gonna fail. Especially being about Chun-Li. My friend told me that Ryu and Ken aren't even in it. :?
That's completely idiotic.
But just like the Dragonball live action movie, I'll see it by obligation. I've been playing those games for a LONG time.

God should forbid this terrible piece of shit to be in movies. Jesus, this movie sucks so badly that I am refering it as "Street Fightors: the legend of chun-lee." This movie sucks so bad that it makes 1994 Street Fighter movie look better. If U still have a gross feeling inside of U because of this movie, go see the watchman or any other movie. It is the antidote to rid U of that nasty feeling from watching this piece of shit. Bottom line:[color=red]IT FUCKIN SUCKS BALLLLLLS!!!!!![/color]

Wow ok, I finally watched this movie.
Totally utter crap of a movie. Do not waste your time on this please...
Hell I would not want to waste my time on this movie even if someone paid me to watch it again. Felt like getting up 1/2 way thru it to spare myself the toture.
Before anyone bashes the actors, I know for a fact that the actors are alot better, Michael Clarke Duncan, Kristin Kreuk and Edmund Chen (Chun-li's dad) are all alot better than the movie portrays. The director somehow manages to screw it up with his crappy directing.
The plot is super fail as well with many scenes not having any impact at all. Also, maybe I have been reading too many incest mangas lately but chun-li and her dad definitely seemed to have something going on beyond that of being just father and daughter.
And no, the action scenes were not able to redeem this so called action movie. Chun-li vs the thugs was more exciting then the showdown between Chun-li and Vega. More rants inc... Why did they spend so much time learning the Kikoshou when it was totally useless, now before anyone tells me she uses that to knock Bison down, a simple kick would have been the same job. For someone who killed his own wife and passed his consenus into his daughter Bison is awefully kind.
One last final rant, were there subtitles for the chinese and irish parts of this movie? Or was the place I watched it at just forgot to put on the subs cos I was left wondering wth was going on in the beginning. Theres alot more thats wrong with this movie but I think this is enough to discourage anyone from watching this crappy movie...
