Honestly, I don't really have a preference when it comes to woman's panties, as long as they fit me they're fine.... kidding, but seriously, it doesn't matter whether they're striped or plain as long as I can take them off of her I'm fine with whatever type they are.
Luckily for me, my girlfriend has quite a few pair.
