Stupidest way to get a concussion ever

I had a concussion once at the soccer playing field at my university. We were watching near the goal (bleachers were near the goal, outside of the playing area) and I took my eyes off the game while trying to stand up and leave the bleachers when POW I was hit hard by the soccer ball on the side of my head. A player tried to kick the ball hard to the goal but missed it by a wide margin, and hit a hapless bystander, which was me. I lost consciousness for 15-20 minutes. I had to be carried by my classmates to the clinic for the doctor to check on my concussion.

The worst part is that some of my classmates who knows how to program in Flash made a simple game that they added as an easter egg on a project in Multimedia - you kick a soccer ball and try to hit a target standing randomly on the bleachers. The target had my face superimposed on it.

i was wakeboarding and the board came off my feet when i fell and hit me in the head. my borther had to jump in the water to help me on to the boat. i had a giant knot on my head it looked kind of funny

Another shift done, yay. Another shift done up FRONT, as one of the OTHER girls who is normally up front called in! Geez!

On the plus side, I'm on the road to recovery. Should be good as new in a couple days =P

Lesson Learned: People have different tolerance levels towards injuries. If you don't feel well even after a slight knock, it is best to see a doctor. :eng101:

Still dizzy. Wanted to go in to the doc today. Pretty much refused me when I called, saying they couldn't see me as it happened at work.

So much for trying to avoid the worker's comp route.

Had to file a workers' comp claim in order to see a doc. Anyway, good news: it's NOT a concussion. More good (or bad?) news: I quite literally knocked some rocks in my head loose:

He taught me some neck thingy that I can do to try to get the "rocks" back in place, and also told me to take Aleve twice a day for my headache. Let's see how that goes.
