I'll tell you, it's worth getting a laptop through Dell just for their warranty. A summer or two ago my motherboard stopped working, I called support with my warranty information, next day there was a tech at my house who replaced it. They even replaced the screen just because I asked them to.
So if you get a Dell, get the best warranty possible.
