Terminator Salvation

So, who's watching it over the upcoming weekend/ opening weekend?

I got my tickets for tomorrow night, midnight 12:01 screening at a theater close to Times Square. I'm gonna hate all the "Oohhhh that's so sick" ... "Oohhhh that's fucking cool" and other wiseass stupid comments or the stupid clapping, but it'll be worth it.

no arnold, so no...plus at this point seems like they are trying to milk a dead cow. Just my opinion

Frankly, I'm glad that we've finally gotten to the post-apocalyptic scenario. No offense to Arnold, but we needed him out of the picture. T3 was unnecessary, and I haven't seen the T.v. show. Not exactly a Terminator fan, but I've always liked robots and shit so as usual, I'm in. Now, if only I could convince my cute neighbor to come with, hehehe...

Feel terminator salvation will be good because it's an apocalypse movie.

Just got home from the midnight first day first show for Terminator Salvation, and I won't spoil it for anyone. Go watch it, and make your own opinions. I'm a big fan of the original franchise, and love the direction in which the story goes about on this new one ... but ... my gripe's with McG, and the editors. You're in for a slight surprise though hehe ...

I'm going to watch it. I feel the trailer might have given too much information away.... Oh well, I think it will still be a kickass movie.

I just watched Terminator Salvation this afternoon. Personally, I didn't get the same experience I did with T2 ( best one). With T2 you felt the thrill, the emotions, the humor, and original narratives. Terminator Salvation had a good amount of thrills with it's old school stunts and explosives, but it lacked personalty and originality.

T2 will always be the best IMO. One of the most epic themes ever

All the characters were bland as hell. Seriously, the entire movie had zero character developent. Was I supposed to care for that Marcus dude? Who was that little girl hanging out with Kyle Reese? Why didn't I learn anything new about John Connor?

Kyle Reese was the only person I care about the entire movie.



The action scenes were awesome though. I also marked out like hell when the T-800 appeared on screen. That was an awesome moment.

This movie was ok imo.

I watched it during the midnight release and I enjoyed it very much.
A lot of people cite the second movie as their favorite, but honestly I went back and watched all 3 before seeing the new one and the acting in the 2nd movie wasn't that great. I loved it when I was kid and I still think it is great, but the acting didn't age well.

The new film however is my current fav now. The human/robot relationship and what it means to not be a machine philosophy was grade A in my book. Original? Not really, but it was a fresh take.

I dunno about you guys, but to me Robert Patrick will always be engraved in my head as the evil guy in T2 lol. No matter what other movie or tv series I see him in, the second I see him I think "oh yea, the bad guy from T2" lol

Is it true that arnold was in the movie? I heard rumors.

at his age I doubt he could do much of anything lol

but is he in the movie? I heard it from a few resources.

They just used his face from old film and placed over someone else's body from what I've heard.

It was ok but the robots were bitches and I really hated how weak and stupid they were. Apparently If I were in charge I would have wiped out the humans in 2 days.
