hmm... Bruce Lee is a martial artist, so it has something to do with martial arts...well if someone here is in to martial arts, he/she should understand this...

To cut the long story short, "Don't telegraph you attacks" Like when you are going to punch someone don't pull back your fist like you are going to throw a baseball. If you are going to kick someone don't waste your time checking if your form is good, kick him when he doesn't have the slight idea of what you are going to do next.

There are quite a number of lessons to be learned from the story and, I think this should be moved to the serious discussion section. I'm getting more and more drunk and there is no proper way to explain what the story is meant to convey. It is nothing more than an observation of Dao.
What the story is saying is that all things are of Dao and bound by it. The difference between a man and a dragon is that the dragon is more aware of Dao. It can anticipate the movements of the wood cutter's attacks as if he was an extension of its body, because that is exactly what he is. It isn't possible to kill a dragon so long as your intent is to do so. What is meant to be, will be. All you have to do is let nature take its course. This dragon was meant to die and Dao brought that about by way of the wood cutter and his shitty axe.
