The reason I'm making this topic is to clear up a few rumors and make things clear. It's in no way here as a way of creating drama or anything along the lines. I simply don't like knowing that people would consider me sexist, take something I posted way out of proportion or call me hypocritical.
Let's see... I'll start with this one thread I made. It was titled "Fakku is not 4Chan or /b/" or something really close to that. In the thread I discussed how I don't like how certain things from 4chan are being spread to the site. The two main things included the sexism and racism. With that thread, I suppose I made it clear that I didn't like the racism and sexism on the site. So yeah, that was that.
A while later, months later (I believe), I posted a thread titled "
24 Things Pertaining To Men". The reason I posted that thread is because I had been looking up information on what it means to really be a man. I was thinking about where I am in life and how I feel with myself. Somewhere along the lines of my research, I found a list of 37 statements or whatever, which was called "The Rules to being a man".
I read it over, found it funny and decided to post it here on Fakku. However, before doing so I removed 13 items from the list. Some were removed because they weren't funny, and others because they seemed sexist. The reason I explain this is to show you (the readers) that I in no way, shape, or form intended for that thread to be interpreted as a sexual one. I simply posted it because I found it amusing. And had I been sexist, I would have kept the sexist items on the list (that were removed before I posted it).
Still, for some strange reason, I've been told by a few people that the thread seemed sexist and that it was ironic how I complained about sexism but made a sexist thread.
I really don't know what I have to do to fully explain it, but
I am not sexist. That thread was purely for entertainment purposes and again, I only posted it because it was amusing. If I was really sexist, I wouldn't have used caution and I would've posted the complete list.
I suppose though, I brought this upon myself by creating a thread with the title "men". Perhaps I should make sure to make a thread that is for women too, that way people don't get the wrong idea. But then again, if I make a thread for women, and a separate one for men.. that might make me sexist too =|

p.s. This thread was made public so everyone knows what I meant with the thread and while it may make me look like a fool... I rather know that I tried to make my point clear than sit back and have rumors spread.
