The horror movie(s) that scared the hell out of you

So what movies use to scare you practically to death or which ones still do???

For me the one i can really think of that ive seen is the hellraiser series....To this day pinhead scares the living hell out of me

Horror movies have no effect on me now, but I watched Stephen's King's It when I was kid. Gave me nightmares for a while.

Lol childs play is understandable its like the first jason movie it gets in your head

the hellraiser movies are truly just brutally great,the storyline is basically Pandora's Box, personally i love the gore of it and the story really but something about pinhead the calmness,his tone of voice,his thought process

I really haven't been "scared" by horror movies. In fact, Disney movies have a better record of scaring the shit out of me than any of the "horror" bullshit Hollywood has produced.

The only horror movie that has ever really scared me was Poltergeist. And even that probably because I was 7 years old (I think) at that time.

Disney....is truly horrifying IE the cult following of Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus

They don't bother me anymore its when an actor can make the character real it bothers me like pinhead is one of the most unique protagonists i have ever seen.It is still interesting to look back at what would scare you as a kid because a lot of it was so stupid

Honeslty, horror movies never bothered me. The stuff that usually gets me riled is the realisitcally plausible stuff. (E.G Final Destination.) Not the whole death following you shit, but the ways the people die. For whatever reason, I cannot watch any of those movies, as I'm so damn analytical, that I realize that shit could go down.

When you pop in a horror movie, you know what to expect. But with Disney (and other animated kid movies), they throw that shit at you from outta left field.

"Oh, this movie looks nice. Talking animals, a beautiful forest, an adorable little deer-HOLY FUCKING SHIT, THAT DEER'S MOM IS FUCKING DEAD!"

"Aw, dinosaurs having a good time. Haha, his name is Little Foot. That's cute-LITTLE KIDS ARE LOST? OTHER DINOSAURS ARE TRYING TO EAT THEM? THIS IS MY WORST FEAR COME TRUE!"

It's not really scared at all when you watched it but....when you ready to sleep..... I always thinking that then never got sleep totally screw up SCARED to sleep!
