As one of the biggest manga otakus there ever was, I couldn't just stand idly by and watch this happen. I had to do something. The easiest and simplest way, was liberating it.

I live in North Carolina in one of the most backwater redneck towns in the history of the U.S. Trust me, I checked- there's only one other otaku thay uses this library, and he doesn't treat the manga any better then anyone else.

Did not know that North Carolina had a law stating you can become a thief so long as not many people care or use the object(s) you are thieving.

I will have to ask the North Carolina police network if this is true.

I don't really know of any college libraries that hold manga in them, and if they do, that'd be ridiculous. If you aren't graduating this year from school, and no one really turns 18 till their senior year, wouldn't that make you underage? I mean, I don't think you can be confined to a college library anyways... and this totally sounds like something a High Schooler would do in the first place. I'm just curious, I don't really care or not, teenagers need porn too.

Maybe he was held back so often he turned 18 before his high school graduation.

The only way to save Mangas from your school libraries is to tell the librarians to actually make covers better and check the condition after each time a certain volume is returned.
