So Rai directed me to this story, and from what he said it's true:

I'm not sure about all the crap at the end of the post, I think the poster was simply being melodramatic but the rest of the post does make you wonder... is her request based on the fact that poor uneducated black people can't understand proper English or numerical values? If so she's hurting the black "cause" more than any racist could ever possibly dream to.

but shouldn't the national weather service (is that the name?) be pulling from a hat of all names (wouldn't listening about hurricane Mohammad be fun?) rather than just European....maybe just english language... ones?

Honestly. That wasn't even a knee-jerk, and I sometimes think I'M borderline racist.
Anyway, people like her are the annoying type who give racism a solid foundation.
I find that this is what happens when you give people too much, too quickly. It's like having ten thousand minerals and gas, trying to build a fleet of Battlecruisers, and bitching about how the game is unbalanced when you suddenly run low on resources.

Reminds me of the time Jesse Jackson came to my highschool in support of this gang of black students who started fighting in the stands at the football game and got a lot of innocent bystanders hurt. The school gave them all expulsions and Jesse Jackson started crying that the school was being racist towards them. Because of this he got the school to close its doors for a week while he and a bunch of people protested it. What was funny though was that more than half of the student body rose up in anti-protest of Jesse Jackson and he got nothing done except to waste our time.
