No I don't. The TS did. And considering the mentioned person "always has to talk about herself and has to glorify everything she does", people should be able to see that she's arrogant. And while it's annoying and troublesome, generalization happened because there are a lot of cases about it around the world in the first place. Don't want to be labeled while you act just like the mentioned kind of person? Tough luck.
Being upset about other actions, while it is unwise, can't be avoided most of the time. Admit it, human being are a creature that emotionally detest whatever they disliked. Talking about generalizing, you yourself have just done it. You demand everybody to not be upset about it, as if the majority of people can do that.
Although I do agree (And never say you should do it) that physical violence is unnecessary on this, as all that it did is makes you worst than the person you hit.
So what I'm reading is you've admitted that you generalized but you still don't believe my points to be valid because you believe everyone does it and that it's alright to judge people based on their "type" instead of going on a case by case basis? Your argument is weak and flawed. I'm sure she is conceited about something, but my point is that every single person in the world is arrogant about something, everyone has overwhelming pride. There is a difference in the generalization you used a the one I just made; you used a generalization to categorize one person as a specific category while I generalized to delve deeper into a large group of people. Your point is that she is like all the others just like her(when you don't know her) and I simply believe that everyone has a talent/characteristic which they are proud of.
Reacting emotionally to something is completely avoidable, you may detest someone but you also don't have the right to act on said hate. I'm asking people not to react.
You have failed to comprehend my points and I really question whether I am being unclear or you are trying to shape the argument to suit your needs; the latter being fairly weak in terms of debate.

You says things contradicting your own argument. First you say "everyone has overwhelming pride" then you say peoples should not react when someone act high and mighty at them. Everyone got flaws, fine. So why gives the mentioned person more right to blabber and glorify themselves while not giving right to act for peoples who feels disturbed about it?
And once again it seems I have to point out that being proud of one's own talent does not mean one should interjects with what other peoples say rudely as if one is always right. Fine, you have your pride, but you think other peoples don't have theirs? Just because you have your pride, then others don't have right to defend their own pride?

How do it contradicts itself? By saying everybody have overwhelming pride. Everybody which means including the peoples who have to listen to the person's rude and self-centrism comment. Those peoples too have overwhelming pride as you said it, which means they have their pride being assaulted. And you're saying they have no right to do or say something to show their disagreement or defense?

who's talking about right? I gave my advice to the op (swallow your pride), my first reply which you decided to fight was the one where I told others to stop generalizing the girl as "that kind of person" because none of us know her.
An ad hominem argument has the basic form:
Person 1 makes claim X
There is something objectionable about Person 1
Therefore claim X is false
Your points are weak and flawed, your forum age has nothing to do with this debate; it is simply a fact. Let's look at the facts.
1. your arguments are flawed
2. you are new
3. fact 1 and 2 have no relation but are both still true.
Do you understand that I am not saying that because you are new to fakku that you are bad? I am saying that you are new to fakku and bad.
It's advice, he can choose to follow it or he can ignore it. It really doesn't matter if someone is prideful and rude; people will recognize it.

Hah, lol... Completely untrue, the best argument will still always have someone who is unwilling to agree. I'm not trying to convince you that I'm right; I'm trying to make others think my point is correct and that you are incorrect. Perhaps My points were flawed in this one but as you were unable to follow them you didn't really put any pressure on any of them. You didn't attack them, you simply changed their meaning to suit your needs and it's fairly obvious. I do believe I have silenced you; my original post that got you all hot and bothered was one where I asked people stop generalizing the girl as "that person" and you've completely abandoned your stance on the matter, or you have at least not spoken of it in the last 3 replies. You seem to be arguing with my shadow at this point, avoiding the real topic whenever you get caught up by logic. At this point you've reverted to "you think you're so great, then why am I still talking?" as a defense and it puts a smile on my face to have you so cornered. Shall I remove my foot from your neck?

One thing however, I do not find my points incorrect. I say based on your words that everybody have their pride, which means while it is not incorrect to stay ignorant (If you observe my first post here, I do say ignoring them is an option), it is also not incorrect to act on them.
After all what is right and wrong in the eyes of so many peoples with different mindsets.
This will not be the last time we argue however, that's assured.
