hard candy seems to be the logical choice, especially considering you can get it cheep in bulk when you buy grab bag mix candies, from a local store. I buy about 20 pounds of hard candy each Halloween and just drop it off my balcony to the trick or theaters, and shell out about 30 bucks for it all.

Throw frozen potatoes or something. I'm not gonna be drunk around you, so just throw whatever you think would be funny. Fishing weights in candy wrappers are always entertaining, no matter when you're throwing them.
