Announced today at 11 am PST, Tim Lincecum has won the NL Cy Young at 100 points over Carpenter with 94 and Wainwright with 90.
Lincecum received 11 first place votes while Wainwright had 12.
Tim Lincecum is the first NL Pitcher to win back to back Cy Youngs since Randy Johnson from 1999-2001. He joins Johnson, Greg Maddux, and Sandy Koufax as the only NL Pitchers to win back to back Cy Young.
WOO! Go Timmy! Giants are gonna make the playoffs next year and win the World Series! Lol. XD

Although, I wouldn't mind if we traded Sanchez. He has the stuff, but he just dies after 5 innings for some reason... Zito... I hope he can pitch better... Lol.

Can you imagine (probably not) if the Blue Jays have gotten Lincecum? Man, that team would have been so awesome.

The Freak, Shotgun Cain, No Hit Sanchez, I have no nickname for Penny, and Zeetz. Lol. I forget about our other lefty in the minors Madison Bumgarner who's been called a lefty version of Lincecum.
Can you imagine that? Two Lincecums!? That's a dominant rotation right there.
I don't know though... I really hope we get a hitter though. Matt Holliday is on the wish list. He can play that left field we dearly need since losing Bonds. I also hope Buster Posey can play as good as he did in college and in the minors. Sandoval looks like a legit hitter. I have no idea what we're gonna do at first base though....
Looking at the team though, I'm excited for next season. We have a good rotation (hopefully they can repeat the success they had), good bullpen with a good closer in Brian Wilson. We have an emerging star in the Kung Fu Panda. Posey is the number one prospect in Baseball at Catcher... Yeah.... Just hope Sabean isn't dumb and goes after someone who can hit.

But... I think the Giants will be fine. You have to remember, the Giants are the 4th largest media market, have a good TV deal, and stuff. They have enough money to get Timmy signed if needed.
