Let me tell you a story. A story from a long time ago. When Fakku had a lot more active members. This was when the random squad was still at fakku. We had two threads one being the original random squad thread that was locked by the mod known as Mike and the other being the random squad 2.0 thread also locked by Mike. To this day we still don't know why it was done maybe he was sad because we were taking members away from the IRC but most of the members got the impression from him doing this that he had gone mad with power and that any attempts at making another thread would fail. So most of the members packed up and left (about 20 something active members). That was when for about a month or a little more Fakku didn't have many posts happening at all.

I remember the lock of the first from when I was active before, at least it reached a thousand pages.
And happy aniversary/birthday thing, whatever you want to call it.

Alot of the people participating in the Console Wars-thread left with that :(
Fuckin sad, now the discussions in there just won't spark again.

Maybe him pissing off a lot of members wasn't the best idea in the world but apparently he thought different. Well if he wanted them gone so he could post without seeing us anymore he can now. Oh wait he isn't here anymore...

It didn't anger me enough to leave tho. I just sort of got over it.

ah yes the good old days, only had to worry about pissing of TheJesus or Hibia back then, and last years MOTEMOTE with a max of almost 2000 votes per battle

I remember when the exact same thing happened while I was modding on Gamepatch. Sometimes, shit needs be locked, is what I learned.

Well, whatever. I never really took part in the Random Squad, so I probably can't talk.

If it needed to be locked then it needed to be locked. The only point that I was making was that by locking that thread a lot of people got pissed and left Fakku. Nobody cares anymore tho and nothing was taken personnel cause it happened so long ago. I only explained cause Eranox asked. I don't even post in the random squad thread on Fakku anymore. Don't know why I guess I just don't feel motivated to anymore. The spark has gone away from a lot of things like Klown said when everyone left.

Ah, I remember those days. Back when I didn't have post to my name, and I was content to sit back and watch all of the Oldfags converse amongst themselves.

I know that I haven't been here that long but nonetheless, I'd like to greet theotaku a HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! (even though it's a bit inappropriate since there's no fuckin leap year!) :lol: - did you intentionally choose to register on that exact date?
