Honestly, I like a lot of bands and a lot of music, these were the first to come to my mind when I thought about it, though.
I'm certainly not a traditionalist, but I think it's harder to find good music these days. It's still made, it's just not what's most popular, in my opinion.
Same with rap, actually. I listen to some hip-hop, but pretty much nothing that is every played on the radio.

Also, Dragonforce is shit. The only reason it sounds like they can play fast is because they layer over their guitar tracks. This is also why they blow live.
