Wanna learn jap but don't have motivation to start?

I might get the basics off of the videos. Although, I haven't a clue where I'd go to learn some of the more advanced stuff unless I went back to school or something, ew...

Why'd you go straight to the advanced stuff if you haven't nailed the basics yet? That may be a big mistake...

And BTW what do you mean by advanced stuff? Kanji?

I never said I would go off before mastering the basics, and I'm talking advanced everything. He only covered the basics of everything. It's not like you can go out, take a plane to Japan, and start speaking and writing Japanese after just watching his videos (at least without being remotely effective).

Actually, you can read/write and talk/listen japanese with just his lessons... He covers basically all of the grammar. The vocabulary, well, he tries to teach as much as possible, but you'll just have to learn the rest yourself or get a dictionary. You can also message him with questions. He usually answers them all as far as I know (or post in the comments and someone might correct you).

Anyways, like I say in the OP, I recommend this for people who are STARTING to study the language (but lack motivation).

This is f*cking AWESOME ive already subscribed to him. Ive watched the Japanese learning programme on BBC2 countless times in the early hours of the morning but ive never managed to get any of that sh!t down.
