Yes and while we're add it why don't we add more redundancy to this already overly complicated language? How about making 3 new words for every word that already exists and at least one of them needs to be spelled the same as another word that already exists. *rolls eyes*

Good followed by the time of day it is. IE Good mo'ro, good evening, good day, good afternoon, good night. Nothing beats the classics. =] It does become an annoyance in IRC channels when everyone's from a different time zone, though. =/
Or just use the persons' name accompanied by a slight nod.
