In the past two days I went to Padang, Sumatra, to attend to my cousin's wedding ceremony. She married a Portuguese guy who lived in Amsterdam, and he brought his foster parents with him there. (SKIP THE FIRST THREE PARAGRAPHS TO GET TO THE MAIN POINT)
My cousin's husband was a fun guy, he's sociable, funny, likes to try different things, likes to eat and learn to cook Indonesian food. We all get along well with him, despite the gap of language difference. But the problem was his parents.
His mother always bitching about hygiene and stuff. She always complained and say "In my place we do it like this blah blah ", or "In my house, I always keep it clean" with her 5 yr old-like English but when we cleaned the house together after the party she just sit in front of the house, smoking and drinking beer. And she even complained about the beer.WTF?
His father was even worse. He wouldn't touch anything Eastern, the food, the clothes, anything. So everyday I had to cook Western food for him, and he didn't even thank me once for that. And when we eat dinner together he looked at us and the food with disgusted look on his face. Despite all that, we tried to be as kind as we could and treat them as one of our family.
One day the parents were talking in Dutch with a serious face, like they were discussing something. I had finished my meal and got nothing to do, so I sit besides them just to say hi. Then they looked and pointed at me and saying something in Dutch while smiling. I didn't know what they were talking about so I just smiled back. Suddenly my cousin came and scolded them, then she told me to leave from that place. When I asked what happened, she said that they called me an idiot who doesn't even know how to make an omelette. Then I raged because I realized that
I just smiled like a retard when I was being called an idiot.
So, that made me wanna learn cursing words from around the world so I can say 'fuck you, whore' in Korean with a nice tone in front of people and they just smile or ask "what does that mean?" and I'll say "oh it's a Japanese word for 'you're beautiful'" and they'll say "thank you". Can you tell me any cursing words from your country so we can deceive and won't be deceived by people?
