What anime was your first mecha anime?

I think it was an animation called "Saber rider and the star sheriff", if it doesn't count, Gundam Wing.

Neon Genesis Evangelion, which coincidentally was also my second animé ever. My first animé was Lucky Star. I really seem to have started with the opposite ends of the mood spectrum.

The first mecha anime I watched was one of the Gundams on Cartoon Network. The first mecha anime I actually followed was Neon Genesis Evangelion which severely traumatized me, lol (more so the movies).
