The Jesus wrote...
I have a lot of conflicting dreams. Some are evil enough to disturb people like Charles Manson, some are pure insanity, and some, if realized, would lead this world into an everlasting age of peace, unity, and greatness. I don't really care which dreams I achieve, I dream for the sake of dreaming, but there is one that I do aspire to achieve and that is attaining enlightenment. I don't want it so much for my own sake, but for the sake of others. People always talk about all kind of superpowers or regular powers that they'd use to bring about something big, but none can compare to enlightenment. The mastery of you're own reality and, in a sense, moving beyond subjective perception is what you read about in books like the Bible, the Bhagavad Gita, the Koran, etc..
Something that not many people know is that Jesus was a master of some form of Kriya Yoga. I don't know exactly, because of the convenient absence of records between his childhood and when he became what his is portrayed as in the Bible. Turning water into wine, healing the sick, feeding the multitude, and from what I can tell, all his other miracles were acts of a spiritual master bending reality which have all been displayed by ascetics and masters of other systems of beliefs. Anyone has the potential to become what Jesus was. Something that is somewhat humorous is that his abilities could be considered child's play to what others have accomplished, one example being Mahavatar Babaji. I don't mean to downplay the accomplishments of Jesus, but he became the Messiah because of what people saw in him, now what he made himself out to be.
Getting back to what I was saying before I went off on my little tangent, I don't want to become a God, a Messiah, or anything like that. My only desire is to realize my true potential so that I can help others who have a similar desire. Helping the entire world in the slightest way is possible and quite noble, but if you can help a single person, not to become greater than they are, but to realize the greatness they already possess is just as, if not more, noble.
Interesting. Some of your references to religious works do make sense. Something about that reminds me of a certain anime character, although I can't remember which one. IN any case, I can't believe I read all that.
