What is your Fav.instrument u like to hear on japenese songs

You Know in Japenese songs there are some instrument that sound so good in the song that it made you like that instrument...

Mine is the Piano and violin

Cuase i mostly listen to calm /sad japenese music

So tell me what is your Fav. instrument you like the hear in Japenese songs?

Shamisen. Has such a nice sound, and fits perfectly into modern rock/pop etc music aswell. Shakuhachi is also cool, even if it's not that usual in normal music. Both have such a unique 'japanese' sound.

Otherwise I can agree on violin and piano, but I like them in western music aswell =P

I love the piano, I've always be absolutely captivated by the the piano. Not unlike other instruments, it makes a beautiful melody, and paints an amazingly detailed picture with every combination of notes...but to me Piano is simply the most beautiful of them all, even chiming a single note is painfully emotional.

I guess Chello would be a second favorite, though.

Anyways, I usually like the bass in Japanese music. A lot of American music focus solely on the guitar while the bass gets left in the background. Japanese music has some cool bass lines.

The human voice. Vocals are what matters.

i like piano, violin, and guitar basically. ^_^ i especially like Sakura Kiss-Chieko Kawabe in piano ;3 and Paper Moon-Tommyheavenly6 in piano and guitar :3

agreed, i've always found that violinso sound very pretty. i like how it can go from elegant, lovely sounds to extremely passionate, wild sounds ^_^ i think people who play violin are very different from each other, because they each play their own style :3
