Shonen is the most popular genre of manga/anime, which is typically geared toward action/fighting but often contains a sense of humor and strong growing friendship-bonds between the characters.
Tough choice, but FMA is definitely my favorite on that list. Followed by One Piece and Naruto.

Definitely Gintama. Gintoki alone is fucking hilarious! And the series as a whole have full of smart humor.

DBZ but only due to me seeing it first. In reality OP is probably the best but DBZ has that everlasting respect from me.

FMA for me. I will never even touch an anime that's more than 200 episodes. FMA is one of the best mainstream shounen titles precisely because it's not milked to death with unnecessary filler-episodes and whatnot.

EDIT: Full Metal Alchemist has, is and will always be my current fave shonen, no doubt about that.

I only focus on One Piece, I was really into Bleach, but I just kinda lost interest. I was never really into Naruto...

Of those listed, I think One Piece is the best. But Hunter X Hunter, Yu Yu, FotNS, Biscuit Hammer, and many others are generally better.
