What kind of Guitars do you like?

There are lots of guitars and brands I like.
I mostly play my electric not acoustic.
Fenders, Gibsons, Schectors, Ibanez, Epiphone, ESP...

There are bunch of styles and shapes in guitars.

I mostly play Metal Genre.

So I usually pick Schectors, Ibanez or an ESP.

I wanted an Ibanez Prestige Model SV5470 and its made in Japan(FTW!)
Schectors are mostly made in Indonesia, s. Korea.
ESP are usually Japan if you go for the higher price guitars.

So what kind of guitars or brands of guitars do you people like?

i don't usually plays it, but i have a schecter ladyluck, a gift from my pal

so i prefer schecters

but i prefer musicman for my bass

Anything is fine as long as it's not a fender, looking like a fender or in any way related to a fender. My favourite manufacturer so far is B.C. Rich, because those guys know what the fuck they're doing and have style while doing so.

I love Esp and Jackson...The best guitars are gibson but i don't really like them(WTF?) I own a Jackson and a Cort and i can say i'm very satisfied with Cort guitars too...Thats all...

My Jackson Js30kv(Have changed the bridge pickup with a Seymour duncan SH-13 Dimebucker and now has a really mean sound)

I stick to Ibanez generally, ESP are fairly amazing too I love the ESP Elipse. I've always fancied a Dean Razorback V but I've never liked any other Dean

B.C. Rich's are very twangy, so they are basically for metal.
More like Slayer, or any trash-metal bands out there.
Kerry King uses B.C. Rich's but I am not a big fan.

Yeah I've never played a BC Rich that's been setup properly, there's always major, major fret buzz

My Favorite is Ibanez though, Gibsons play great but personally i don't like their design to much except for the Les Paul Standard and the Gibson Flying V.
I prefer more modern looking guitars like ibanez or fenders. Fenders are pretty cool and they feel great to play but i wish more of their guitars were 24 fret.
So basically my favorites are Ibanez, Gibson and Fender

Gibsons are very nice, I dislike the neck thickness on the 50's ones, only been lucky enough to play one about 10 times in my life. Are the necks on the Deans more or less all the same? Ibanez necks seem to have more or less the same dimensions as eachother

Yeah know what you mean by the thickness of their necks and that kind of ruins feel of the whole guitar in my opinion.
eh deans necks and ibanez necks are pretty decent i'd say their around the same thickness.
In my opinon though i think fender has the best necks. they just have a great feel to them.
i actually haven't played much on a ibanez before mostly because i don't own one and the same goes for gibson since both of those i haven't spent much time on. only played a gibson about 3 or 4 times in the past 2 years.
oh i also own a fender but it's pretty beat up so i don't use it very much anymore.

Probably the best guitar to start out with, I started off with a Yamaha strat though, they're all more or less the same imo

Jackson, ESP, and a few select Deans are all I would touch.

i really like ibanez. they are so cool. and the tone is wonderful!

Ibanez and Schecter.

Deans are meh. Jackson makes pretty good guitars.

I have a yamaha strat clone, but I've gotten hands on an Ibanez Jet King 2; best guitar in existence. Double that with 249 price tag.

I LISTEN TO EVERYTHING. i love guitar and music in general. but i love shredding guitar. a lotta metal and heavy solos

The Dean Razorback V 255 is surprising good. 24 frets, EMG 81/85 pickups (none of that stupid Dime shit), decent Floyd Rose tremolo. Much better than most guitars I've played at Guitar Center. However, if I was super rich at the time, I would have went for Alexi's 600 with the Seymour Duncan Blackout. Not because I'm a fanboy, but it's a really nice guitar... ever since Fender bought Jackson they've been shitting out on me ever since. ESPs, Schecters, or Ibanez are the only guitars I would ever check out.



Surprising good, got it on sale for $700 (used to be like 1.1k)

Btw, to those who have the impression the B.C. Rich's are bad, has anybody checked out this guitar?



I know B.C. Rich is a shit brand endorsed by one-finger-wonder Kerry King, but this guitar's specs are insane. Yeah, there's no cool inlays but still. I should have checked out this guitar earlier when I was picking out guitars... somebody try this guitar out, it's specs are absolutely PERFECT!
