Build your own. Don't be daunted by the fact that you're building it by yourself, it's nowhere near as hard as it seems.
Yeah .
The cheapest way to buy a computer is to make it by your own .
If you can't,just buy the standard one and modify it .
Building a comp is the cheapest way to go. It isn't that hard. If you have installed rams and reformat your comp before, you pretty much covered a lot of the stuff. There is also a lot of websites that have tutorials on what is needed and how to put them together. Just take your time and double check your work and you should be fine.
The problem with buying a standard comp and the modify it is that a lot of times the comp is built to the bare minimum of what it is. A lot of times the mobo can't handle more rams, sata ports, sli or Xfire and etc. The psu usually around 300-350w (400 if your lucky) and that wouldn't be able to handle a high end graphic card. Unless you buy a nice standard comp to begin with, usually you are limited on what you can upgrade with and also it be more expensive then just building it to begin with.
Check out this site, www.cyberpowerpc.com . They have pre-configured comps at a lot of price range and you can also add/change parts to your comp build. They don't make their own parts like dell and hp, they basically just put together comps and sell them.
Hopefully this helps on your decision.
