Always wondered, what would the genre for these songs be called? I don't think there was any definite genre for these kind of songs.
Pop? nah..
Progressive rock? ...
Classical rock? hm..

Also, any other songs similar to these?

Technically (I've heard them all and have them in my folders), they're still considered Jpop. What they do is take modern pop and use choir techniques and certain synthesizer effects to create their own brand of music.
