HERO QUEST!

I got this for christmas when I was just a little kid, and I loved every second of it. It was literally the only boardgame that ever captured my attention for more than a few minutes, also allowing for the creation of your own little stories and adventures. Yeah, it is pretty similar to D&D, although it's alot simpler to understand and doesn't take for bloody ever to get into. It even had expansions. Lots of fun.

wow i don't think I've heard of Hero crest before but it looks fascinating

Go. And I actually heard about this game before Hikaru! (Which doesn't really change the fact I suck. But I'm at least better than the people who have Hikaru no Go nicknames at KGS)
