Single. It's hard to find someone who I deem is intellectually worthy of having my love. (i.e. similar beliefs and shit, shares my sense of humor, can use logic, etc.)
I await the day when I am lucky enough to meet such a woman.
Thats no fun to have someone just like you... do you want to go out with yourself?
I didn't say she had to be exactly like me, but at least similar to me and not like the dumbasses I've seen in high school. If she's not smart, I'll try to teach her. If she won't learn, then I'll have to move on.(btw don't mistake that with me imposing my will on her and being some control freak)
Okay gotcha ;) Some people want to date someone who is this picture in their head of an ideal person who is just like them. But in my experience it is opposites that attract.
Also, even though it gets on my nerves, don't forget some girls "play dumb". Take from that what you will.
In a relationship. And I have to agree with Rbz in that I like a girl who is similar to me on certain levels. Having similar tastes and like-minded ideas makes it easier to coexist in the long run.
Psychology studies have shown that relationships based solely on romance are the ones most likely to fail. Because after that romantic infatuation wears off (and it will) there's nothing left. So dating someone who is the complete opposite is usually a recipe for disaster.
And just as an example, I'll point out how my girlfriend refuses to watch anything that has the
possibility of blood in it. Because apparently she faints at the sight of it (although I have never witnessed this). That means even if there is only a single scene in the entire movie that shows blood, a lot or a little, she won't watch it. When trying to share the TV I have to always be the one to compromise. And we always end up watching stupid shit like the Food Network. Stuff like that is frustrating as hell, especially since I'm a guy who likes violence and action. Now imagine if she did that shit when it came to everything. We probably wouldn't have made it through the first month.
