Do you just get up and play your visual novels or do you wait to get in the mood of
things before starting to play them? or something else?
Personally i wait for a mood where i can be completely absorbed by the story before playing it but those moods are quite random sometimes so i could be waiting for some days for the mood to come. Other than that i sometimes force myself to get in the mood but those are 50/50 chances.
No need of special preparation. If anytime during playing I feel bored/tired, I stop for the day. My motto is to enjoy all VNs and not just rush through them just for the sake of H-scenes.
Of course if I get hooked I go on for hours, it's as good as reading a novel/e-book, can't stop till the end!
My free time is divided between anime, manga and VN.
Usually when I have nothing else to do, and I'm bored to death. Yeah, they're not a priority to me in any way.
Drawing > games > anime > movies > alot of other stuff > VNs
Mostly because I don't have much pacience to read through the bricks and walls of text. And I get especially dismotivated when I start one and the story does not amuse me.
I play in burst. I won't play for weeks, but then I'll play one for like half the day. Fate/Stay night was that way, and so was Clannad. Ever17 seems like its going to be that way too since I haven't looked at it since I downloaded it. Thats all the ones I've played though so ^___^
