When is it Sex?

I'm asking for you opinion on what sex is, not a dictionary definition or else this thread would have no point.

Examples
Some people think that sex is only vaginal/anal. Some people think foreplay is counted as sex. Etc.

In my opinion all those things count, as long as there's someone else involved. Lol.

Well, it might be called 'oral sex', but I don't consider it to be like that. I think a girl remains a virgin till they get penetrated. Foreplay too.

I mean, you can get aroused from a massage, but you don't call that sex either, right? XD

Guess it's just a vague thing though.

Id say sex would be when your actually in the act of`. so like when your inside of her, you are having sex.
Or at least that is what i believe.

Foreplay is called making out, really. The act of penetration is called sex.

I think that sex is when two people play with each others' body regions where the sun don't shine.

For example, any kind of mouth-to mouth kissing I would consider just making out or straight kissing.

But anything like fondling of a girls' breasts, a handjob, fingering, cunnilingus, blow jobs, anal, vaginal, or any other act involving one or more private part is sex.

You know this actually is a weird question, because I've had times where I had what is technically sex, but I don't FEEL like it was sex. It was like just an act of rubbing parts together.

More of a statement than an answer but does anyone else know what I am talking about?

Hm, to me sex encompasses all of the emotional and physical "activities" that lead up the intent of having intercourse, and of course intercourse itself.

Oral sex is sex. Titty sex is sex. Foot jobs and hand jobs are sex. I'd consider virginity lost after that. Though, one can be a vaginal virgin and not a virgin otherwise. You can't really consider a girl pure after she's swallowed 30 loads or a guy pure after his blown his load on 30 girls.

I don't like the idea of handjobs or blowjobs being considered sex. If they are sex, then if a guy gets his dick rubbed by a chick, he'll have lost his virginity. If my friend came up to me and said, "I'm not a virgin anymore, I got a blowjob!" I'd want to smack him. So would all of my friends.

With guys, the dick has to enter a vagina if he's straight and anus if he's gay, to lose his virginity. If he hasn't done that, then I'm not going to be able to see him as not being a virgin. More of a connotation thing, really. All my life, I've been told by society that when you have sex, you lose your virginity, and if it doesn't involve sticking your dick in the nether regions, then you're not really losing your virginity. As for guys that are straight but have anal sex with a girl first, I don't really know. If my friend said that he lost his virginity that way, I'd say that he still hadn't crossed the finish line, so to speak.

With girls, I don't quite know what to say. Sex cannot be defined as breaking the hymen since the hymen can be broken in other ways, and if a girl is gay, all talk about penetration goes out the window. If I had to say something, it'd be that straight girls lose their virginity when they are penetrated by a real penis. That'd be real "sex." But like I said, I'm clueless when it comes to bisexuals and lesbians. I'll just let them define sex the way they want.

To sum up, I define "real sex" in regards to losing one's virginity. But that really stops being useful once virginity is lost. If a man cheats on his wife by getting a blowjob, he should be in just as much trouble as if he had stuck his dick inside her.

the way i see it, is its a matter of definition.

You can have a sexual encounter and not nessasarily have sex, by strict definition, sex is penetration, but sex isn't nessasrily needed to have a sexual encounter, aslong as you both get off, the objective's been acheived!
