That's actually not true. It's more to the fact that milk chocolate, and especially dark chocolate, has a lot of cocoa beans which actually can lift your mood. White chocolate isn't actually chocolate because it has no cocoa solids (which is also why it is white and is save for people with theobromine deficiencies to eat.) It also contains no caffeine, which a lot of people have as a "pick up."
