I try to cook what my mom use to make on weekends but always mediocre compared to hers T_T. Back to microwave! xd

Look like either orinteal, seafood, or tom yeung (w/e) soup falvoured... my favorite has to be beef flavored instant noodles.. forget which company though... might be maruchan

I've been wanting to start cooking for a while actually. I'm good at cooking the things I like (mostly pretty simple stuff like BBQ and rice etc) but I want to actually get good at it and be able to cook food for people. It's almost ironic though that I can't cook since I work in a dish pit right in the middle of a kitchen so I could probably ask some of the cooks to teach me some stuff.

To tell you the truth, I started cooking by being bored and jsut looking up recipes online.. I kinda figured out my own wasy to cut and stuff.. but they're probably not that great still.. i suggest just getting some recipes and trying to make the food

I would love to learn how to cook. At the moment I can only read the directions on the box. So nothing fancy for me. Basically I can prepare things that come in boxes or Ramen. My cooking ability sucks in large comparison to an ex of mine but, she had a natural talent for it.

isn't that how all chef apprentices start off from?
basically, you are in the kitchen, and you get to observe the masters at work
it's not like anybody could walk into a kitchen without bothering anybody
well, i wouldn't know much, i just learn about these things from literature

I learned to cook by watching other people. Not professional chefs, just people I knew who could cook. As long as you don't get in their way, friends and family are usually happy to let you lurk around in their kitchen and make small-talk while they cook.
There's nothing better than a practical demonstration, especially when the person doesn't know they're giving one ;)

I'm a decent cook. My stuff always comes out edible, at least. Whether it's good looking is another matter entirely.
