WHY oh why are figures so damn expensive?!

that's just how it is ~________~ btw, that's still cheap in my opinion coz' i usually spend 300~400$ a month for my love of figurine

I love it so much too <3 Her boobs are amazing! [size=10]to suck on[/h] 50 bucks for a cast-off of that quality is actually pretty good. I know it's still a lot, but like ero said.. that's just the way it is. Just think how much work the painters need to put in to make it look so good :] The thing about figures is that you can pre-order them and as long as you don't go overboard, you can pay 'em off pretty easily. I have about 20 on pre-order at a time and usually only 2 come in per month. The majority of figures get delayed.

I don't find her very attractive :? Her stomach just looks weird to me. Plus - cow has never been an attractive animal to me. It's just a fat animal that loafs around and grazes. Though neko-mimi's are highly attractive and all cats do is lay around. But they're just so much cuter :P

While I'm not into figures much the answer is obvious to me. They're this expensive because there are a ton of fans willing to pay that much for them :P Modern economy systems 'rock' don't they ? :roll:

I prefer dakimakuras to figurines. You can fap to it and then you can wash it.

Especially for those Yuki Nagatos. I think the price is just right!! If they lower the price that only means the demand for anime and manga is dropping. Sadly I think it's needed that it should have a fairly high price to avoid devaluation.

I believe that the prices are fair enough, although for me, money is starting to get low, and I gotta get another job to provide me with "otaku money"

For the past couple of years, I've thought about buying figurines at a local anime convention, but I've held up because I wasn't sure where I'd put them. I've made up my mind though; if I see a good figure for a good price this year, I'll buy it and make a place for it! Anyways, $50 really is a pretty normal price for a figurine. I wouldn't want to even spend that much, but I know people who have spent over $100 on a single figurine, and I've heard stories of people spending more than twice that amount for one.
