Kasa Obake. I realize that this is the basic standard when it comes to japanese folklore monsters, but it's still retarded. I'm not scared of an umbrella. I don't care if it has an eyeball and a leg, I will still kick its ass. They don't even do anything aside from attempting to frighten people.

HEre's one from the Philippines... a creature that shows herself during the night, she cuts herself in half - the lower part stays on the ground and the upper part terrorizes the towns people... REALLY stupid actually. I mean - why cut yourself in two just to eat people's insides? it's pointless, your stomach is cut in half!

But still, wouldn't you be scared if you see a decapitated woman flying around your house...?

well im from phil. and it is scary if i see a "manananggal" flying around my house... they eat unborn babies. by lowering their tongue from a hole they make on the roof to the navel of a victim (pregnant women), they always cautious when preying.

what if they died on their way here, becaue of a nasty impact, and became ghosts, and through their ghostly ways, were invincible? then they would technically be supernatural, and worst. cuz a predator is like evil and stuff.

Well, I'm from Singapore, and like to pester my Malay friends about their supernatural folklore. There's this ghost whom they like to call Hantu(ghost) Tetek(breast). She has a huge rack, and uses them to lure victims(mostly men) and attack them by attempting to suffocate them to death using her massive mammaries :shock:

well aside from the "Manananggal" there are tons of stupid super-natural creatures like the "Tikbalang" half man, half horse and no its not a centaur since a "Tikbalang" has a head for a horse and a body of a human...ok so its more like a Minotaur anyway aside from scaring the shit out of people by hiding and appearing in trees and abducting small children(i think it prefers lolis) it mainly used to scare little kids so they wont go outside during the night.

Another is the "Tyanak" the baby thats not been baptized yet...ok this is one freaky shit as "Tyanak" kills its victim by pretending itself to be a cute little tyke dont know much about filipino folklore so cant tell much though i do know there are tons of useless shit my parents told me so not to stay outside.
