But it's not useless. Basically, I have a question.
See, I got an external Hard drive and I put my VN's there (My computer is an XP, btw). So I tried the VN's on a Laptop (Vista).... and, well...
Fate/Stay Night didn't open and Clannad worked, but only the sounds and the CG, not the "Load Game" and "Start".
So I was wondering if the problem lies that I transferred my VN's to a new HardDrive (external), The mentioned VN's are not compatible with Vista OR the possibility that the HardDrive is just not compatible with a Vista.
yeah, i heard some games aren't compatible with Vista for some odd reasons.
also if you just bought a (ex)HardDrive it would be totally compatible with Vista. [/h]
well.. you cant play Artificial Girl 3/Expansion with Vista.. this problem goes for all games in 2007.. (sooner or later i will change my Laptop OS into XP)
Both Clannad AND Fate-stay Night works on Vista x86 (32 bit) if that's what you're asking.
I got both of them working.
Clannad -> you need to change your system to Japanese, applocale won't cut it. It'll crash at menu.
Never had any problems with FsN. Never tried to transfer it through my HD for the new english versions (big thanks to mirrormoon). Don't think there would be a problem, but there might be missing registry files, best bet is to reinstall and copy the save games over.
