It's sad that he had to meet his end like that. The memory of him will be carried by his family, friends and fans.

This is... a pity. As a youth, I remember avidly watching the Korean dubs of this series' anime and reading the manga.

It is unfortunate.

Did you know that September 11 is "No News is Good News" Day, as well? With everything that has happened on that day now, perhaps we should start making it so.

Damn shame, I watched his stuff on adult swim I think a while back. Unlike the majority of anime out there(ex Lucky Star), his stuff the rare combination of being uniquely Japanese and also having universal appeal making it good TV in any culture. I remember my brother (who despised anime) and I watching it and looking at each other "is this for real?" and laughing.

I really don't see any successor who appeal such a wide audience like he did...Sad
