A good Zipping program

I was looking for a free program that can zip (or rar whatever) every file but also keep all those files seperate. Anyone got any recommendations? Or does such a program not exist.

what do you mean by keep seperate, 7-zip is great, replaces both winrar and winace and any other archiver
