This is how it works in my book.
I speak for both sides of the table here.
In the Pro-life side, killing is wrong and killing a human being in any religion is a sin. If people think that just cause a baby isn't fully out a mother's womb does not make the baby "human" needs to think. Babies are Human beings, they be who they are and that does not make them less then any other person in this world.
In the Pro-chose side, i know that problem and in some areas abortion is needed inorder for a better answer. And the government would have not put this legal if it was a betterment for our country. Killing people has been in our history in years and sometimes it is good, **Sometimes**
So it all matters what the person think if it is good or not. We can't change it. and If you think the other person is wrong, let him/her do the mistake not like your going get hurt off that
Actually, in most religions, killing is acceptable, as long as it's under certain conditions. During a war, for instance, it is not a sin to kill those against whom you are fighting. I believe capital punishment may be okay, too.
Check out the Old Testament. God tells people to kill other people all the time, and He's cool with it.
Not that it matters, but I felt like sharing that info. :D
As for killing sometimes being a good thing, I'd say it would definitely be a good thing if a child is going to be born with Harlequin type ichthyosis (Google it). I know I'd rather die than live with that.
